This is the concept behind HS Mercantile, a shop featuring a carefully edited collection of thoughtfully designed housewares, accessories and clothing.  I focus on items that are simple, high quality and conscientiously created, with an emphasis on pieces that are handmade or produced using traditional techniques and materials. 

 

It is important to me that the goods I carry are items that I personally use and value. With a background in slow fashion, I am forever interested in how things are made, the people whose hands crafted them, and the traditional skills and techniques used to create them.  By foregoing trends and supporting a culture of handmade goods, we preserve this intangible heritage.
