All Ellipsem jewelry is deliberately left uncoated, so it will naturally darken and patina with wear, which adds depth and dimension to each piece.  If you prefer a shinier finish, polish your pieces with a standard jewelry polishing cloth.  For brass pieces, you can also mix Bon Ami cleaning powder with water to form a paste and buff gently with a soft toothbrush.

Do not use  jewelry cleaning dips. Always remove your jewelry before swimming, using chemicals or entering a hot tub or sauna, as this may cause dramatic changes to the patina of your jewelry.

Designer Molly Rose Oteri Hearn's collection, Ellipsem Jewelry, is handmade jewelry designed to be lived in.

Each of Molly's pieces explores dimensionality and the tension between function and sculptural form. Her designs are often textured, and geometric, hammered and curved, and always made to be worn.

Molly creates with a belief in the power of the personal object to act as a container for memory. When a piece of jewelry is worn on an ordinary day, for a special occasion, or in the many moments in between, it becomes imbibed with those memories and experiences.
