Percent Jewelry is the brainchild of Tom Schwartz, by inclination and education an aesthete and connoisseur of the arts, both fine and decorative. All Percent Jewelry is handmade in sterling silver. The gold finish is 24k gold over sterling. Featured gemstones are chosen for their color and clarity and are meticulously hand-cut to Percent Jewelry’s specifications in Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Upon completion, the finished stones are dispatched to Percent Jewelry’s studio in New York’s Hudson Valley, and, in the concluding phase of this transformation, are set by local silver artisans. Production runs are always modest in scale to ensure not only quality, but also exclusivity and the distinction of every earring in the collection.
