The moon halo earrings by Bonny Mountain Metalsmith are handmade from sterling silver and then oxidized to enhance the hand etched texture.  These earrings measure 1 5/8" in total drop length and 7/8" diameter, and are suspended from sterling silver earwires.

Jewelry can make a statement about who you are and how you feel about yourself. Designer Kathy Rowlings of Bonny Mountain Metalsmith believes that the right pieces can provide joy and augment or enhance how you feel about yourself.

From her studio at the base of Bauneg Beg Mountain in North Berwick, Maine, often referred to as Bonny Mountain, Kathy creates pieces inspired by the nature around her. She combines carefully selected metals and integrates different textures and forging techniques to produce clean, simple pieces that embody her love of nature.

Kathy studied Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the University of New Hampshire and the Maine College of Art. She continues to explore new techniques at the Alice Caroll Design Center at the Button Factory in Portstmouth, NH.
