From the moment we are born, we are swaddled in textiles. Throughout our life, we continue to wear clothing while we work, travel, play, relax and sleep. Man in the Studio believes that the garments we wear must be a continuation of our bodies and movements.
Established in 2017, Man in the Studio was founded with a vision to create a line that supports sustainability. The line is designed, cut and sewn by hand in their own studio based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Combining tailoring and traditional sewing techniques, they produce their comfortable styles using high quality, locally woven linen.
A socially responsible company, Man in the Studio produces their garments locally, providing the community members they employ the best working conditions possible and a fair salary. As environmental stewards, they choose slow and sustainable fashion values. Each garment is made to order. Patterns are laid out tightly to reduce waste and excess fabric is up-cycled into smaller designs, parts of new garments, accessories or fabric swatches.
Their clothing not only feels great to wear, but also feels great to own.
