The savannah shirt by Hannoh Wessel is made from a crisp cotton poplin that is perfect for those warm spring and summer days.  Reinforced raw edges on the front placket, sleeve and bottom edges are a signature detail of the line.  Hand painted abalone buttons stitched on with red thread add a unique element to this classic shape.

German-born designer Hanno Wessel studied couture at Ecole de la chambre syndicale de la couture Parisienne. Following his studies, he worked in haute couture in Paris for three years. When he launched his own line, Hannoh, in 1994, his minimalist designs, focus on natural materials and meticulous tailoring resonated with clients, generating an immediate following. In 2015, he moved his production to Italy and founded his company H+Hannoh Wessel.

 

Simple, clean shapes created with a handmade sensibility and exquisite textiles are the hallmarks of H+Hannoh Wessel. Finished with singular details such as a raw hem or an exposed zipper, each timeless piece is simultaneously charming and refined.
