Bronte by Moon is a collection of fine woolen goods produced by Abraham Moon & Sons, a mill in Guiseley, Yorkshire that has been in continous operation since 1837. One of the last vertical mills in Great Britain, they carefully oversee each step of production from raw wool to finished product.
The wool used for production is fully traceable and processed in an environmentally friendly manner using only eco-friendly detergents. In addition to their commitments to zero waste, recycling and solar energy, the mill is also proud to produce all of their products with the highest ethical standards. The sheep are free range and pasture fed and the mill's wool growers adhere to the five animal freedoms:
freedom from hunger & thirst
freedom from discomfort
freedom from pain & disease
freedom from fear & distress
freedom to express normal behaviour
